Monthly taxes & gov't fees

Sales tax
Google Fi collects sales taxes on behalf of city, county, and state governments, when required. The rate varies by region.
911 emergency service fee
We're required to pay this fee to cover the costs of providing emergency 911 services.
Federal and state Universal Service Fund assessments
This fee helps cover other various government charges we pay including FCC regulatory fees and contributions to support federal telecommunications programs.
Federal Regulatory Assessment Fee
These funds support initiatives to give all Americans access to communications services. They subsidize services in rural and high-cost areas and support services in schools, libraries, and hospitals.

Data slower after
Anyone who uses more than 100 GB of high-speed data on Unlimited Premium in a single cycle will experience slower data at 256 kbps until the next cycle. If you want to return to faster data before the cycle's end, you can do so at a rate of $10/GB.

Hotspot tethering
Use your phone as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot and share its Internet connection with up to 10 other devices at the same time.

International data
High-speed data around the world is included at no extra cost. Before you travel, make sure your destination is on our list of covered countries and territories.

Free texts to other countries included
